Victorian Supreme Court order puts Western Highway works on hold after felling of tree on Djab Wurrung country

She said, from a grassroots position, she could maintain the fight for her country.

"I believe strongly in the power of grassroots people … me stepping away from the assembly doesn't mean I shouldn't not have a voice anymore," Ms Austin said.
