A convicted paedophile priest spent time living in the Netherlands where he helped out at a shelter for vulnerable women and their children, according to newspaper reports.
A Sunday Tribune article says that Oliver O'Grady acted as a church deacon assisting mass.
According to the nespaper, defrocked priest Oliver O'Grady's crimes include the sexual abuse of over 20 boys and girls - including a nine-month-old baby.
The former priest - who is Irish - served seven years for his crimes in a US prison.Mr O'Grady appeared in the documentary 'Deliver Us from Evil' in 2006 discussing his sexual abuse of children.He also spoke of being moved from parish to parish by Church authorities.
Calling himself Brother Francis, Mr O'Grady volunteered at the Church of the Holy Heart Christ our Redeemer in Rotterdam.
He also volunteered at the Missionaries of Charity in the city which runs a homeless shelter for vulnerable mothers and their children.
Mr O'Grady has since moved home to Ireland and is living in a hostel in Dublin.
The Tribune reports that he was served with a civil action by Californian attorneys representing several of Mr O'Grady's victims last week.
